I would just like to talk a bit about an array of products that we are especially proud of. As you read, you will become more and more aware that a lot of love and effort goes into all our menu items.
ITALIAN SAUSAGE Our sausage is made with a recipe of the "now famous" Mama Pastameli by Ivano Bertoia, who owns the European Meat Market on Victoria Drive. Ivano takes great pride in his product and we are proud to serve it, and once you've tasted it you'll know why.
MINESTRONE This is the only item we keep hot and ready to go. The reason we can do this is because it is soooo good! It sells very fast, thus is always fresh. A beautiful array of vegetables, beans and pasta simmered with just the right combination of spices, in a tomato broth, create this all time favorite Pastameli dish.
BOTTOMLESS SALAD BOWL Our now famous bottomless salad bowl consists of fresh romaine, carrot, green pepper, red cabbage, cucumber, tomato, pepperonchini and our fabulous dressing, topped off with fresh parmesan. Don't eat too much, dinner's coming and the portions are big.
CHICKEN PRIMAVERA This is the boss's wife, Eve's, favorite. El Dante vegetables, mushrooms, lots of chunks of tender chicken breast simmered in a combination of our Alfredo sauce and Tomato Cream Basil sauce. Simmered and poured over steaming hot linguine. I'm getting hungry just thinking about this one.
JUMBO MEAT RAVIOLI We bring in a special, very large and very meaty ravioli. We simmer it in our Rich Tomato sauce, place it in a casserole, top it with mozzarella and bake it to a golden brown. This is a hardy and very tasty dish.
ITALIAN SAUSAGE TOSCANA My son, Scott's, favorite. Our great Italian sausage sautéed with onions, green and red peppers, and when just done, topped with our Rich Tomato sauce and simmered to bring all the flavors together and then poured over a bed of steaming hot El Dante pasta. A very robust and super sized diner.
CHILI AND GARLIC BREAD I couldn't talk about chili without giving Judy Ayton at least a mention. Yes this is her recipe and is it ever good. We start with a blend of lean ground beef, and ground pork. These are sautéed in a blend of spices, predominantly, garlic, chili powder, cumin, and oregano. Add to this green peppers, onion, tomatoes and kidney beans. Cook it to a just done stage, so you don't kill the crunch and taste of the vegetables and there,you have a signature item.
GREEK SALAD Our Greek salad is just a bit different than the traditional. We use red and green peppers; the red peppers give a nice sweet flavor and a dash of color. Our onions are Spanish reds, as they are a mild onion and don't dominate the salad. Add to this cucumber, field tomatoes and a mild but tasty olive oil dressing, top with lots of fetta and calamata olives. Now that's a Greek salad Pastameli style.

All the feature items and daily special items are available at lunch plus a host of lunch items such as our burgers, sandwiches, and italian panini sandwiches
OUR BURGERS We use lean ground beef and hand form them into 5 oz. Patties. They are served on a large fresh baked French bread dough buns. Lettuce, tomato, red onion, and our special burger sauce, along with a decadent choice of different toppings make these burgers a Pastameli favorite.
CHICKEN BURGERS Cajun, teriyaki, cheese, roasted red peppers, yes a whole variety of chicken burgers. A large 5 oz. Portion of chicken, on our French bread buns, with mayo, lettuce, tomato, and onion. A "GREAT" sandwich.
